The Roxborough Music Festival is back for its 5th year and is expected to be bigger and better than ever! Not only will there be a day full of music for all ages but a preceding day dedicated to dance, music and fundraising.
Friday, September 11th: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Steve Kohnstamm from Ultimate Sounds will DJ the Community Dance Party and welcome on stage dancing demonstrations including tap, country line dancing, hip-hop and Zumba. A silent auction will be raising funds from 5:00pm – 8:00pm for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Roxborough PTIC, Hands Across Roxborough and the Love, Hope Strength Foundation. In addition to the silent auction, Roxborough residents can purchase tickets to dunk teachers, neighbors and other Roxborough locals in a 500 gallon tank both Friday and Saturday. There will also be bouncy castles, face painting and games.
Saturday, September 12th: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Music lovers of all ages can listen to great local musicians from variety of genres such as rock and roll, swing, blues, country and folk music – visit www.RoxboroughMusicFestival.com for a complete lineup. Not just one but, two stages will host local bands all day long. Local cuisine and cold drinks from Waterton Tavern and Angel’s Share will be for purchase throughout the event. You’ll also be able to do some shopping as local vendors will be present with their artwork, clothing, accessories, jewelry, home goods, services and much more. Kid’s activities will continue on from Friday’s event and door prizes will be given away at the conclusion of the festival.
