Roxborough Love

There’s a lot of love in the air! Love for the Broncos, the warming weather and our Valentines are topping the list, currently.

Super Bowl 50 champions, the Denver Broncos, will be celebrated with a parade through downtown Denver today. The parade will start at noon at 17th and Wynkoop streets (Union Station) and end at Civic Center Park. Click here for more information on the parade route.

A rally will follow the parade at 1pm with the Broncos players, coaches, Gov. John Hickenlooper and Mayor Michael Hancock in attendance.

According to Denver police, 375,000 people attended the 1999 celebration when the Broncos defeated Atlanta. Event planners have pointed out that the city has grown significantly since then so the numbers could reach over one million. For those who plan to attend, it is strongly encouraged to use public transportation.

The 5 day forecast for the Roxborough area has us warming up considerably. Weather.com shows highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s with a whole lot of sun. Greg Berman manages the page by providing frequent updates on larger weather systems and uploading radar images.
