Roxborough Area Historical Society invites you to a fun-filled fundraising event where you’ll travel back to the 1950s era to enjoy memorabilia: a model railroad, arcade games, replica of 50s “Main Street”, Harley-Davidson lounge, “Elvis” and a classic cars collection.

On Saturday, February 11 or Sunday, February 12, crews will stripe and move barrier wall along Wadsworth Boulevard to accommodate a new traffic alignment. This traffic shift will create a work zone on the west side of Wadsworth Boulevard so that crews can reconstruct the road next to the bluff. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

2016 was another successful year of festivals and giving back to the Roxborough Community.   A total of $18,700 was donated to various charities directly impacting the Residents of Roxborough and our surrounding community.

Roxborough License plate covers are now available for purchase as a fund raiser for the Roxborough  Area Historical Society.   Funds will be used in various ways to protect and share historical information about the greater Roxborough area.  Plates are available for $10/each or $15 for Two at REMAX Edge.

We are nearly there – only a couple short days till we say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017 with open arms. If you’re like me, 2017 can’t come soon enough. The holiday season is here which means many have been going on overdrive trying to accomplish the many tasks that can consume this special time of year. Getting a tree and then decorating it, shopping for presents then wrapping them, hanging lights, grocery shopping, finding the perfect ugly sweater, baking sugar cookies, sending out holiday cards…the list goes on and on. But there is one very important task that should be on the top of everyone’s list – charity.
