Learn about the amazing and at times bizarre behavior of owls in regards to the lunar cycle and the little known “retired” owl constellation of Noctua.

Birding Insights Workshop: 
Beneficial Barn Owls with Live Owl
Wednesday, September 20 from 6:30-8pm

Come learn about the amazing adaptations of barn owls and see them in action! Cupid the barn owl from Wild Wings Environmental Education will be featured in the in-depth workshop about owl behavior and anatomy. Receive tips on how to locate owl nests in the wild, as well as owl hiking etiquette. Learn how to invite these beautiful birds into your neighborhood, as well as how to make your home and owl-friendly zone.
Little Hoots Story Time

Roxborough LibraryJoin us for this special story time designed for our littlest owl enthusiasts! Hoot like an owl, meet Mr. Hoots the owl puppet, and fly into early literacy with stories and songs about our favorite feathered friends of fall. Free program! Registration not required.
