Roxborough looks beautiful all year round but there is something special this time of year when many of the houses are lit with twinkling lights. Private homes, neighborhood entrances and nearby Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms is getting into the spirit for all to enjoy.
There are so many great homes in Roxborough that are lit floor to roof. RoxboroughLiving.com has made it easy for you to see the best of the lighted homes and is awarding the top 5 with prizes from local businesses. You can submit your home, or a neighbor’s, to info@roxboroughliving.com. Or, if you just want a good lighted route through the neighborhoods, you can check out the interactive map.
The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms has improved upon their lights this year by adding more lights and extending the trail. Now visitors can weave their way through several lighted themes including 60 trees hosting more than 35,000 lights. Hot chocolate and treats are available for purchase again this year. Check out the list of events they have scheduled including tomorrow’s pickle ornament craft at the Deer Creek Stables within the farm. Admission starts at $6. If you head to the farm this Thursday, $2 of your admission will go back to the Roxborough Elementary Schools. For more information check out the Facebook Event created by the Parent Teacher Involvement Committee (PTIC).
