The Roxborough Arts Council (RAC) is a non-profit organization supported by membership dues, activities, private donations and sponsorships as well as grants from the Scientific Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). The council welcomes all levels of artists in all mediums. Many of the art that comes from the council is on display and for sale at the Rox Arts Gallery in the Roxborough Marketplace. Formerly between Waterton Tavern and Roxborough Academy of Martial Arts, the gallery has relocated to the 2nd floor of the marketplace just left of the elevator.
Open Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm – 5pm, the gallery offers several rooms full of beautiful art from local Roxborough residents. Art includes paintings, photography, jewelry, cards and more.
Stop by on the second Friday of every month for their gallery reception. Peruse through the art and mingle with the artists while enjoying refreshments.
