Young Talent in Roxborough

Friday night, at the Roxborough Primary School gymnasium, the Parent Teacher Involvement Committee (PTIC) held its annual Talent Show for local youth in K-6 grades.

Twenty brave acts performed on a star studded stage before an audience of approximately 200. Acts included; dance, magic, martial arts, vocals, piano, comedy and gymnastic routines. The talent portion of the night’s event was followed by a celebration and cake.

The fundraising event was a successful one for PTIC. Co-organizers, Katy Gambler and Gwen and Warren Kuchel put on a wonderful community event that received many accolades from attendees including congratulations on a “good turnout” and a “job well done.”

PTIC holds many fundraising events throughout the year. Their next event will be Family Fun Night on March 13, 2015. For more information, please visit www.roxptic.org.
