DBG Chatfield – Corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival

Autumn is in full swing which means the corn maze is open at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms. The 8-acre maze opened to the public on September 16th and will continue to be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays till October 30th. A mini maze, pony rides and a jumping pillow is available to kids, hayrides and a variety of treats are available to all. Starting September 30th, the lights will be turned out and visitors can attempt to make it out of the maze in the dark. For those looking for something scary, there are several attractions including the Corn Stalkers Haunted Maze, Reapers Ranch and a haunted hayride.

But, perhaps the best time to go visit the corn maze is during the Pumpkin Festival on October 7th, 8th and 9th. Admission to the festival includes access to the antique tractor exhibit, pony rides, barrel rides and hayrides, access to the mini corn maze, photo booth, face-painting, kid crafts, corn hole, giant Jenga and access to a 10-acre pumpkin patch where you can shop for the perfect pumpkin (pumpkin prices vary). There will also be live music, local craft and artisan booths, food trucks/vendors, and beer and wine vendors
