Most everyone is familiar with Black Friday and Cyber Monday but not as many people are aware of Small Business Saturday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. American Express launched Small Business Saturday back in 2010 in order to promote and support small, local businesses. Since then, the day has been gaining attention and support from people nation wide. Last year an estimated $14.3 billion were spent at independent businesses across the US.
The Roxborough Business Association will be hosting several events on November 28th in order to promote local businesses in and around Roxborough.
From 2pm – 6pm on November 28th, home-based businesses will be selling their products and services at the RE/MAX Edge office and at the Douglas County Library located in the Roxborough Marketplace. Roxborough residents will get the opportunity to shop locally for holiday gifts as well as receive great discounts and specials. Vendors include…
Businesses in Roxborough Marketplace will also be participating in Small Business Saturday by offering great discounts. You’ll want to stop in and visit them on November 28th to take advantage of what they’ll be offering.
