The Roxborough library will be closed Sunday, April 1, through Friday, April 13, for remodeling. Several recurring events will be held at different locations, including two storytimes at the fire station.

Watersports Summer Camp at Chatfield

Dads, daughters dance the night away

Fancy, twirling dresses and dark suits took over the night recently for an evening of dancing, while horse-drawn carriages laid in wait beyond the doors. Roxborough Primary School filled with dancers for the Parent Teacher Involvement Committee’s annual Father Daughter Dance on Friday, Feb. 2. The 11th annual event was geared toward girls in kindergarten through sixth grade and their father figures.

For anyone seeking family-friendly holiday events close to Roxborough, take a short drive up Wadsworth to Chatfield Farms for its brand-new Santa’s Village event.Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms has revamped its Christmas lights attraction, this year unveiling Santa’s Village at Chatfield Farms. The event is replacing Chatfield Farms’ previous holiday celebration, Trail of Lights, with more lights and interactive attractions, which may be especially exciting for kids.

2017-2018 Douglas County Property Valuation

When a property is reappraised by the Assessor’s office, we estimate the market value as of the appraisal date, which is set by statute as June 30 of the preceding year. Rox Arts Council Hosts Mothers Day Make-and-Take Event

The Roxborough Arts Council (or RoxArts) will host a Mother’s Day make-and-take event on Sunday, May 7th from noon until 3 pm at the Rox Arts Gallery in the Roxborough Market Place. Local artists from the art council will have tables set up for children to make beaded jewelry and paint personalized cards for their mothers.
